Dunn's River Falls

Located very close to the resort section of Ocho Rios is Dunn’s River Falls. This is another popular Jamaican attraction. It consists of a series of beautiful waterfalls that send crystal clear water pouring over the rocks and stone steps. This is probably the most popular attraction in Jamaica today. Over the entire course of coming down, the water drops about 600 feet. If you like, you can start at the bottom and climb your way to the very top of the waterfalls. The rocks can be very slippery at times though so you might want to seek the assistance of a guide who will help you up and assist you in finding the caves.

There is also a beach in Dunn’s River Falls. Here you can enjoy swimming and sunbathing. This is at the bottom of the falls where it meets the sea. Before you descend down the steps to the beach, or the foot of the falls you will find a shopping complex that is mainly consisted of craft shops.
